My program is completely different from his -- it is structured differently and was coded from scratch by me without reference to his code. The only thing derived from his program was a similar (but not identical) header, which I removed when you (Snout) asked me to. When this accusation was first made, I asked you to look at both programs and verify that mine was not copied or derived from Arian's code. I still have mine and will happily submit it again for examination at any time. > [....] During the incident in question, I did not make any personal attacks on Arian. I did not call him any names or disparage his character. As best I recall, I didn't even mention him by name. I did complain publicly about being unfairly banned from SPR Space, and I asked the reasons for the ban. I believe such complaints are completely protected by SPR's free-speech policy, as it was written at the time and as it is still shown today both on SPR itself and on SPR's new web site. > [....] NEVER is a long time. I had been banned -- for no good reason, to my way of thinking -- for a year and a half. Many of my friends are still there on SPR. I hoped maybe the couple of wizards who didn't want me there had forgotten about the whole thing, and it seemed that way for a while. During the time I was online, many players and at least two wizards were aware of my presence and did not express to me any objection to either my presence or my behavior. And, lets be honest here. . . I didn't have much to lose. What could Winged do, ban me again? I was already "permanently" banned from SPR, so being @toaded again wasn't exactly a huge setback in my eyes. As far as I know, there are only a couple of people on SPR (i.e. Winged and Arian) who object to me, for reasons that I still consider bogus. But since they are wizards, they will get their way? That doesn't seem right to me. -- Tony Belding
