| Gypsy foxes travel to Mossflower on the eve of a summer Nameday. The distrustful Redwallers insist the foxes set up camp in the nearby meadow. The young vixen Fernblossom befriends the Redwallers, awed by their innocence. Her father, Slate, has more sinister plans for the Abbey. Fernblossom is torn between her new friends and her loyalty to her family. Should she join the Redwallers and betray her father? Will she ever be at home in Redwall? Or should she stay true to her family? | |||
