Star Fox
An alternate version of the events leading up to and including the assault on Venom in Nintendo's video game of the same name. (Based on the SNES Star Fox game and Nintendo Power comic, not the N64 game.)

Fox McCloud, Jr., Falco Lombardi, and Slippy Toad are young cadets with promising futures in the SpaceForce. But then, a tragic loss and the treacherous actions of their enemy, Andross, change their lives and that of their friend/mentor, Peppy Hare, forever.

Several years later, Andross is now Emperor of Venom, a planet torn by the chaos of a civil war. Promising a return to their glorious past, Andross unites them under a dangerous dual goal-the destruction of the Federation and the claiming of Corneria as their new home world.

Meanwhile, Andross' second-in-command must choose the lesser of two betrayals -helping the SpaceForce against his people, and allowing his people and many others to be destroyed by Andross' thirst for vengeance and power.'
