| Many of my stories have rather depressing endings. This one did, originally,
but I was talked into a somewhat more upbeat ending by a friend. I should
listen to him more often. This appeared in the Confurence 6 program book with
an accompanying illustration by John Nunnemacher that was so beautiful it drew
attention completely away from the story. Oh, well. |

magazine at work of all places. It was a man leaning down praising his dog,
and I guess the dog was licking his face, but I didn't get a good look, so all
I saw was a dog with it's muzzle dangerously close to a man's mouth. :) |

| My main concept, the chief gem in my crown of writing. Hybrids takes a step
back from normal furry stories, to a place where a better overview can be
made. Whereas most stories I've read with furries could just as easily have
been made with humans, Hybrids is different. With Hybrids, the central
driving question is: what if you took the world as we know it, and put a furry
in it? What would happen then? |

| This is a crossover, out of continuity, between the Hybrids and Disney's
Gargoyles. If Disney as a corporate entity is reading this, and wishes me to
remove these stories, I will do so immediatly.
The premise is dirt simple: what if Xanatos decided he wanted to catch a
hybrid for study? I bring in all three current hybrids, and a slew of
gargoyles characters for the grand crossover epic. It's placed after Scar's
return to New York after "Four Shadows" and between the first
and second seasons of Gargoyles. If I got anything wrong, I'm sure you'll let
me know. :) |

| This is what's turning into a series of stories that I'm really using to
develop some characters. They started from a major work that's been on the go
since grade school, really, and have passed through a variety of different
personas before getting to what looks to be a novel-length piece.
Unfortunately, I sent an unfinished copy of that work to a few trusted
reviewers and a large chunk of it was declared toxic waste. So it's on the
shelf for the moment. Right now, I'm focusing on building characters through a
set of "sequels" to the original work, "Darkside". This selection includes
fragments of "Darkside" as well as the sequel stories.
